As the Super Bowl approaches, a Visa Inc. survey finds that the average American hosting a Super Bowl party plans to spend $118.80 on food, beverages and more-almost identical to last year. In 2010, the average fan spent $144. There are regional differences as well, with fans in the South planning to spend the most at $128, and fans in the West planning to spend the least at $110.
